The only place I go to in San Diego for Pupusas! Absolutely love them, you can't go wrong with any you order, they are all delicious. Handmade pupusas and fresh ingredients you could taste. They also have this tasty and refreshing drink I would recommend called, la Ensalada.

This is my favorite breakfast place. The food is delicious, a perfect combination of sweet, spicy, and savory. Everyone should come here all the time

I went in early morning, they had just opened. The place was very clean. Their music was super loud and it as soon as someone noticed me it was turned down. The server lady was friendly she took my order which was to go. I was offered a sit while I waited. I waited for about 20 minutes which I'm not complaining about since my Popusas were made until I ordered. I will definitely be back soon.

This place is a hidden gem. I went twice during a short stay in San Diego. The food was wonderful, as were the people working there. The pupusas are amazing and they are worth making a short trip over. It is reasonably priced (for San Diego), with plentiful street parking. If you love authentic food and want to try some dishes from El Salvador, go there!

I love this ranch style decor! Very good place with nice staff.

The fresh orange juice was very delicious. The food was good, and the prices are decent for the portions. The house sauce was a little unpleasant as well as the slaw style salad that comes with the steak. The waiting staff are direct, which isn't bad.

I LOVEEEEE the food here. They have that authentic flavor. However the wait time is .. yes because they prepare your food on request so it makes it worth it!!!

Food is delicious, service is great. The workers hustle the whole way through and do it all with a smile. Friendly and thoughtful service. Expect to wait for a table at dinner time.

Really good food. A lot by of Central American dishes. This is not Mexican food. It is a one of a kind place. If you know some central American dishes, they'll probably have them here. Would definitely come back again!

Hidden Gem. The size of the popusas are more than meets the eye. 2 should be plenty and a delight in every bite.

Family Owned Slow Cooking. Authentic El Salvadoran food, from Pupasas with Loronco, amazing to slow cooked Chicken and meat dishes. Slow cook means-Long wait time, and tasty dishes. Take your time here, Don’t rush Mama in the kitchen!

I really enjoyed my meal at El Salvadoreno. I ordered the Pupusas Chicharron + Queso + Frijol + Jalapeno + Loroco (Pork Cheese Bean Jalapenos and Loroco is a popular edible herb / flower) and I ordered Ensalada + Pechuga de Pollo (Green salad with Chicken)Both were really good and I loved the spicy sauce they served when I sat down.Service was great; menus were clean and so were the tables and floors etc.

I went here on Sunday with some girlfriends and the food was delicious. The steak ranchero was amazingly good!!! We all tasted each others dishes and everything was super yummy. This place is busy so be prepared for a delay since everything is made fresh.
